SpaceFest! is a festival of shoegaze, space-rock and alternative music. It consists of concerts, workshops for musicians from Poland and abroad, meetings with legendary artists, a competition for young bands and live album releases.
The fifth edition of the festival will be held on 4-5 Dec 2015 in Gdansk!SpaceFest! is organized by Nasiono Association in cooperation with Laznia Centre for Contemporary Arts, Club Zak and with the support of the City of Gdansk.
Here’s another confirmed band in SpaceFest! line-up: TAU – a collaborative project spearheaded by Shaun Nunutzi, a member of the fearsome Dead Skeletons. Inspiration for the music was manifested in the desert lands of the Real de Catorce, north-west Mexico. This project is a collage of ideas and trance-induced soundscapes and comes from a lineage of those who are influenced by the psychedelic/psycho-active experience. Themes include animal totems and reimagined indigenous medicine songs aimed at transcending the mind and liberating the spirit.
